Job Title: Scientific Director

Critical Path Institute (C-PATH) is seeking a highly qualified Scientific Director to join our Rare, Orphan, and Pediatric Diseases (ROPD) Program. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with program leadership and an interdisciplinary team to advance novel drug development tools for rare and orphan diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide scientific leadership and coordination of activities in the ROPD Program
  • Develop and execute strategic plans and priorities with program leadership
  • Establish and lead projects to support the development of drug development tools
  • Foster relationships with regulatory bodies, companies, academics, patient groups, and other research initiatives

Requirements:

  • PhD or PharmD in biological science with experience in rare diseases
  • Four or more years' experience in medical product development
  • Broad scientific, clinical, technical, and regulatory understanding of medical product development
