Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the department, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the management team to achieve sales goals and objectives, and to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean and organized manner, including the display of merchandise and the maintenance of inventory levels.
  • Assist with the training and development of new team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of sales strategies and promotions, and assist with the execution of these plans.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in a department store or specialty retail environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, team members, and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Working Conditions

The Department Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent movement within the store to access various departments and products. The ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and to lift up to 25 pounds is required. The Department Manager may be required to work in a variety of environments, including a warehouse or distribution center.
