Under the general supervision of the Assistant Custodial Supervisor, this position will guide custodial personnel in their daily operational tasks while also engaging in hands-on custodial duties.

Salary Range: $20.24/hr. - $26.16/hr.

Physical Requirements:

The role involves various physical activities, including:

  • Carrying - Occasionally - Up to 3 hours/day
  • Attendance - Constantly - 6-8 hours/day
  • Cleaning - Constantly - 6-8 hours/day
  • Climbing, Crawling, Driving, Kneeling, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching - Occasionally - Up to 3 hours/day
  • Standing, Walking - Frequently - 3-6 hours/day

Work Environment:

The work environment requires the use of approved safety equipment such as gloves and eye protection. Flexibility in work hours is necessary, including potential weekend and holiday shifts. The role may involve working alone in various settings, including areas with high traffic.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum of one year of custodial experience.
  • Ability to assess and utilize custodial materials and equipment effectively.
  • Familiarity with cleaning agents and safety protocols.

Preferred:

  • At least six months of experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong customer service skills to foster effective relationships.
  • Ability to develop and implement training programs.

Special Requirements:

This position is subject to a background check and requires compliance with safety and health regulations. A valid California driver's license is necessary.
