Job Overview

This internship is designed for transitioning service members who are interested in pursuing a career in recruitment and human resources. As a SkillBridge Recruiter Intern, you will support the recruitment team in identifying, engaging, and selecting top talent for various roles within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, military networks, and other channels.
  • Review resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications.
  • Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Assist in promoting the company's brand, particularly in military and veteran communities.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics, helping to optimize the hiring process.
  • Work closely with the recruitment team and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align candidates accordingly.
Qualifications
  • Talent Acquisition or Recruiting experience preferred, but not required.
  • Currently serving in the U.S. military and eligible for the DoD SkillBridge Program.
  • Is within 4 to 12 months of separation or retirement.
  • Will receive an honorable discharge.
  • Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS.
  • Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months.
  • Received Unit Commander written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to the start of the internship.
  • Meets DoD SkillBridge qualifications as per DODI.
  • Strong interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, or human resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Previous experience with ATS or CRM systems is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
