Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and position patients for ultrasound examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate ultrasound machines to capture high-quality images for diagnostic assessment.
  • Analyze and interpret ultrasound images to assist in accurate diagnoses and inform treatment plans.
  • Maintain detailed records of patient histories, procedures performed, and diagnostic results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care plans.
  • Ensure ultrasound machines are properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Communicate clearly with patients, addressing questions and concerns.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology or Ultrasound program.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in ultrasound.
  • Certification from ARRT or ARDMS.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board-MRT or hold ARDMS certification.
