Business Analytics Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analytics Advisor to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Business Analytics Advisor, you will provide expert content and professional leadership on complex Business Analytics assignments and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic partnership in analytics, identify and prioritize opportunities for impact, develop analytic solutions, leverage data science and technology capabilities, embed analytics-driven processes, operationalize and measure impact, to support decision making and execution based on data, facts and analytical findings across different parts of the organization.
  • Exercise considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.
  • Use deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.
  • Focus on providing thought leadership within Business Analytics but work on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business.
  • Ensure that the data used within the organization is accurate, consistent, and reliable.
  • Performing statistical tests on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborating with database developers to improve data collection and storage processes.
  • Running data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions, as well as cleaning data.
  • Gathering data from primary or secondary data sources to identify and interpret trends.
  • Reporting data analysis findings to management to inform business decisions and prioritize information system needs.
  • Documenting processes and maintaining data records.
  • Adhering to best practices in data analysis and collection.
  • Keeping abreast of developments and trends in data quality analysis.

Requirements:

  • Experience level: Manager
  • Education: Bachelors
  • Skills: Azure, Cloud SQL
