Job Overview:

MISA Imports seeks a highly skilled Merchandiser to join our team in the Austin metroplex. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for merchandising products within stores according to pre-determined sets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively merchandise product within the store according to pre-determined sets
  • Responsible for all aspects of product merchandising within assigned stores
  • Interact with store employees, management, and customers in a professional manner
  • Build relationships with warehouse teams, receivers, buyers, and customers
  • Drive a box truck when needed
  • E nsure timely delivery of products to stores and correct placement on shelves
  • Track inventory levels and report shortages

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of experience in merchandising
  • Ability to learn about products to provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to work independently
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 200lbs repeatedly
  • Basic computer skills

Compensation Package:

  • Estimated salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
