Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate House Manager to join our team at Community Integrated Living Incorporated. As a key member of our residential program, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents, while also providing support and guidance to our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Resident Care and Support
    • Supervise and support DSPs in providing daily care and assistance to residents.
    • Ensure residents receive timely and appropriate medical attention, including medication management.
    • Conduct regular home visits to monitor resident well-being and address any concerns.
  • Program Implementation and Oversight
    • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
    • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
    • Collaborate with QIDP and RN to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Staff Supervision and Development
    • Supervise and train DSPs on care procedures, policies, and protocols.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
    • Support DSPs in their professional development, including training and education opportunities.
  • Administrative and Reporting Responsibilities
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including resident files and program data.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management, as required.
    • Assist with budgeting and financial management, as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in residential care or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
    • Knowledge of care procedures, policies, and protocols.
Working Conditions

The House Manager will work in a residential setting, providing care and support to residents in a home-like environment. The position requires flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and services.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office equipment.
