Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift Specialist

Avery Dennison is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using technical documentation and testing equipment.
- Repair and maintain electrical systems, including motors, switches, and circuit breakers.
- Perform complex wiring assignments and install electrical conduit.
- Work from schematics, drawings, and layouts to locate and diagnose trouble in the electrical system or equipment.
- Assist engineers in diagnosing problems and suggesting corrective action.
- Inspect completed repairs and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of previous experience in maintenance and repair required.
- Certifications in specialty area required as applicable.
- Good interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, mechanical/technical skills, and logical problem-solving skills necessary.
- Ability to work independently in a safe and timely manner.
- Motivated towards productivity improvements, safety, and quality awareness.
