Service Department Coordinator

Everglades Equipment Group is seeking a highly skilled Service Department Coordinator to join their team.
The successful candidate will assist the service manager in maintaining accurate, timely reports, work orders, and records relative to the service department's daily operation within the dealership.
Job Responsibilities:
- Field internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department.
- Open work orders as directed by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman and maintain control until they are closed and invoiced.
- Maintain the service library with current information (for example, files bulletins, manuals, multi-media, etc.) under the direct supervision of the Service Manager.
- Maintain Service Department filing and records.
- Update customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from the customer work orders.
- Assist in answering service phone calls.
- Maintain accessories and supplies and prepare replacement orders.
- May prepare Service Technician efficiency reports and other reports as needed.
- May process warranty and/or product improvement claims including the computation of charges, submission, and follow-up.
- Other related duties as instructed by management.
Job Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of accounting practices.
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Knowledge of office procedures.
- General understanding of mechanical/technical terms is preferred.
- Mechanically inclined.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
