Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Vice President of Operations who will be instrumental in fostering a culture that prioritizes exceptional product delivery to our customers, thereby enhancing our business success.

Key Responsibilities:
This role encompasses comprehensive oversight and management of Operations and Supply Chain functions related to product manufacturing, service logistics, and working capital management. The Senior VP will also play a crucial role in driving Operational Excellence initiatives and nurturing talent within the operations team.

Operational Leadership:
- Direct the manufacturing processes, global supply chain management, distribution, and repair operations to align with the business unit's revenue and profit objectives through initiatives focused on cost efficiency and quality enhancement.
- Prepare and present business-level reports regarding Operations Management, consolidating performance metrics related to shipments and working capital improvements.
- Negotiate strategic agreements with suppliers to ensure cost reductions and eliminate non-value-added elements in the supply chain.
- Formulate and implement a Make/Buy strategy for key expenditure categories, ensuring optimal support for product lines and operational enhancements.
- Champion the development and execution of strategic initiatives across the business unit.
- Identify and promote Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence strategies to achieve cost reductions and process improvements.
- Facilitate the use of continuous improvement methodologies across the organization to eliminate waste.
- Lead environmental and safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Establish performance goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide actionable insights across Operations Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
- Oversee the formulation and execution of manufacturing strategies that align with business objectives.
- Develop metrics and tools to enhance operational efficiency and communication, ensuring customer requirements are met while optimizing product value and reducing costs.
- Conduct monthly reviews of operations and quality metrics.

Team Management:
- Supervise functional team leaders within the business unit, promoting a culture of respect, integrity, and accountability.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity within Operations or Supply Chain in a dynamic enterprise solutions environment.
- Proven track record in team development, motivating personnel to achieve ambitious objectives.
- Strong executive presence with the capability to define and communicate a strategic vision for Operations.
- Proficient in analyzing and interpreting business documents and regulations.
- Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to address inquiries from diverse audiences.
- Expertise in diagnosing customer needs and translating them into effective solutions.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a focus on process optimization.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and MRP systems is essential.
