Assembly Technician - Contract Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team on a contract basis. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies
  • Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in functions such as performing wiring, component installation, kit assembly, and on assembly units
  • Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications
  • Ensure that all work is completed in a timely, safe, and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Report any quality or safety issues to management immediately
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic/mechanical assembly
  • Knowledge of basic assembly techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Moderate computer skills
