Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team at Disability Solutions, where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications tied to extended and augmented reality and building immersive learning experiences.


Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Develop and maintain full stack applications using a range of programming languages and frameworks, including but not limited to: HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Ruby, and C#.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with a team of designers, developers, and product managers to understand user requirements, and to design and implement software solutions that meet those requirements.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows best practices and coding standards.
  • Application Scalability: Build scalable and responsive applications that work seamlessly across multiple devices and platforms.
  • API Development: Develop and maintain APIs and web services that support the front-end applications.
  • Tech Adoption: Use modern software development tools and practices, including Git, Jira, Agile development methodologies, and continuous integration and deployment.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in full stack development, and share knowledge and expertise with the team.
  • Code Review: Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.
  • Issue Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and debug issues in software applications, and provide timely solutions to ensure that users have a great experience.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and front-end frameworks (React preferred)
  • Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or C#. (.Net preferred)
  • Experience with serverless architecture
  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug complex software issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.

Salary

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
