About the Job:

This Fire Alarm Technician role involves installing, testing, and maintaining fire safety and security systems in residential and industrial/commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working in these environments and hold NICET II certification.


Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Upgrades: Install or upgrade fire alarms to ensure they meet industry standards and local regulations.
  • System Testing and Repair: Test and repair alarm systems to ensure they function correctly.
  • Inspections and Reporting: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and document findings in detailed reports.
  • Cost Estimates: Provide preliminary cost estimates for materials and services.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency service calls promptly and effectively.

Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in industrial or commercial facilities.
  • Certification: NICET II certification.
  • Skills: Knowledge of state and federal laws and building codes, proficiency in test equipment, and ability to read installation manuals.
