We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician II to join our team at Northside Hospital Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to calls for medical equipment maintenance and repair in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment, including troubleshooting and calibration.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure medical equipment is functioning properly and safely.
- Develop and implement procedures for medical equipment maintenance and repair.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical equipment technologies and advancements.
- 2+ years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair.
- Electronic fundamentals, including basic electricity, active devices, transducers, digital devices, microprocessors, and electrical safety in healthcare.
- General human anatomy and physiology and medical terminology.
- ICC Certification as a CBET, CLES, or CRES is preferred.
- Up to 10 years of experience working in a hospital setting, either in biomedical engineering or a clinical area.
