About the Role

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is a key member of the Tulane University Campus Health team, dedicated to supporting and promoting student health and well-being. As a part of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical services, referrals, and health education to students. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring the health and well-being of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical assessments and exams, health education, referrals, and health screenings in a variety of clinic settings.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to provide comprehensive care to students.
  • Develop and implement health education programs to promote student health and well-being.
  • Participate in peer review projects, grand rounds, and community engagement activities.
  • Stay current on developments in the field of medicine and college health.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Nursing.
  • Completion of an ANA-approved Nurse Practitioner program with AANC or AANP certification.
  • Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner from the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
  • One-year experience in a clinical outpatient setting.
  • More than three years experience in a clinic outpatient setting.
  • 1-year experience in a Primary Care setting.
  • 1-year College health experience.
  • Knowledge and competency to supervise health profession students and trainees.
