Job Opportunity: Logistics Clerk - Part Time

We are seeking a Logistics Clerk - Part Time to join our team at E & J Gallo in Modesto, CA. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in logistics and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate material ordering for the warehouse and overall operations.
  • Assist Team Leaders from all departments with warehouse functions as needed.
  • Resolve material delivery and supplier issues in a timely fashion.
  • Validate receipt of materials for Modesto bottling needs.
  • Provide support to drivers on COD issues and account questions.
  • Work closely with all customers and provide support, order and inventory information, daily communication, and follow-up as needed.
  • Report receipts of inventory on a daily basis and maintain accurate information.
  • Maintain and develop a positive working relationship with vendors.
  • Monitor and review the progress and accuracy of assigned work.
  • Work closely with various customers and build strong relationships.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or state-issued equivalency.
  • Previous experience in logistics or warehouse operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
