About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at Plains Area Mental Health, Inc. in Northwest Iowa.

This is a full-time or part-time position working Monday-Friday hours with no weekends or holidays.

The estimated salary for this role is $19.48 to $22.72 per hour, depending on licensure and experience.

As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will work closely with our Prescribing Staff to maintain schedules and update client information in our electronic health record system.

You will perform client assessments, screenings, and education, manage/triage client phone calls, assist with medication refills, lab orders, and prior authorizations.

You must be organized, efficient, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate client records and updating information in our EHR system
  • Assisting with medication management and refill requests
  • Triage and responding to client phone calls and messages
  • Collaborating with our prescribing staff to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and computer systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A valid driver's license and insurance
