Job Summary
As a Medical Forensic Specialist at Providence Health & Services, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive medical-forensic examinations for adult and adolescent patients reporting interpersonal violence. This is a full-time night position (36 hours weekly) that requires a skilled nurse with experience in delivering quality care to vulnerable populations.

We offer an estimated salary of $120,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as up to $15,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible candidates. Our benefits package includes best-in-class benefits designed to support your well-being and career growth.

This position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide individualized care to patients, adhering to the Alaska Nurse Practice Act and approved standards. You will be accountable for delivering quality nursing care using the nursing process and maintaining certification in Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE).

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in nursing, including 1 year of experience, and current certification in BLS. Preferred qualifications include completion of SANE Clinical Skills Lab training and certification.
