- Assist healthcare providers with exams, procedures, and treatments.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to promote patient health and well-being.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state licensure to practice in Massachusetts.
- Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
- Experience working in a community health center or primary care setting.
- Knowledge of managed care and electronic health records (EHRs).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
The LPN will work in a busy community health center in a downtown business district. Long hours may be required, and the ability to lift small pieces of equipment, boxes, and/or patients not to exceed 40 pounds is necessary. Visual acuity sufficient for frequent reading and hearing acuity sufficient for holding conversation with or without audio devices are also required.
