Buckner International is seeking a skilled Landscaper to join our team at Camp Buckner. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain Camp Grounds: Create and maintain the grounds, flowerbeds, trees, and landscaping to create an inviting environment for our guests and program participants.
- Lawn Care and Maintenance: Mow, edge, rake, and trim shrubbery as needed to ensure a well-manicured appearance.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure the grounds, sidewalks, walkways, trails, and gutters are clean and clear of debris, and operate ladders and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain gas-powered lawn care equipment, including lawn mowers, weed-eaters, chain saws, edging equipment, and blowers.
- Pool Maintenance: Perform routine pool maintenance as directed.
- Assistance and Flexibility: Assist in moving equipment and furniture as needed, and work nights and weekends as directed to meet business needs.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other assignments and duties as requested.
- Physical Demands: Ability to use up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 pounds continuously to move objects.
- Work Environment: Ability to work outside with exposure to sun, heat, and elements of nature.
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to drive assigned vehicle(s) or personal vehicle, with appropriate state license, following all laws applicable.
