  • Expertise in RF environments related to plasma physics, sources, components, and plasma-material interactions.
  • Proficient in scientific analysis software such as Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the design, construction, and operation of RF plasmas with integrated diagnostics and measurement systems for fusion plasma devices.
  • Familiarity with multi-physics simulation tools like COMSOL Multiphysics.
  • Background in experimental plasma physics or diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of plasma and/or neutral transport models and modeling codes.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within diverse teams.
  • Self-motivated with innovative collaboration skills in a dynamic research environment.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.

Candidates must have completed their Ph.D. within the last five years before applying and must fulfill all degree requirements before starting the role. The initial appointment duration is for up to 24 months with possible extensions based on performance and funding availability.
