We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Event Bartender to join our team at ThornCreek Winery in Aurora, OH.

Nestled among eight acres of nationally awarded gardens, our winery and gardens venue hosts events up to 350 guests, offering a unique and magical atmosphere.

As an Event Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including wine, beer, and cocktails, while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and serving beverages to guests
  • Learning about our wine offerings and production
  • Interacting with customers, taking orders, and serving snacks and drinks
  • Assessing customer needs and preferences and making recommendations
  • Checking customer identification and confirming it meets legal drinking age
  • Restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies
  • Staying guest-focused and nurturing an excellent guest experience
  • Complying with all food and beverage regulations

Requirements include:

  • Proven working experience as a bartender
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
  • Relevant training certificate
