Role Summary:

  • Develop and implement test cases, both manually and through automation, to ensure the quality of software deliverables.
  • Oversee the identification, tracking, and resolution of issues that arise during the testing process.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams to improve processes and maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute test scenarios, create automated test scripts, and validate software functionality.
  • Draft test plans and cases, analyze requirements, and independently execute scripts.
  • Employ SQL queries for database validation and utilize tools such as SoapUI or Postman for web services testing.
  • Conduct a variety of testing types, including Performance, Load, Regression, and Integration testing.
  • Identify necessary test data, report defects, and contribute to the enhancement of testing practices.
  • Estimate defect metrics, provide updates on critical risks, and maintain effective communication within the team.
  • Utilize automation tools like Selenium and Cucumber, demonstrating proficiency in Java and defect tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues and verify solutions.
  • Effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment through close coordination with team leadership.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is highly advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on manual testing.
  • Proficient in RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) with hands-on experience in writing database queries.
  • Basic understanding of Java and experience in testing various systems and applications.
  • Expertise in testing methodologies, test planning, and defect reporting processes.
  • Experience with test case documentation and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver.
