Operation Hero Program Facilitator

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Operation Hero Program Facilitator. As a facilitator, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of military children in grades 2-5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote character development and resilience in students.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the school to organize a comfortable and inclusive learning space.
  • Assist in planning and executing a special graduation ceremony and reception for Operation Hero students.

Requirements:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in an instructional capacity as a teacher or child care lead in a supervised education/child care-related program.
  • Knowledge of military life is a plus.
