Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment programs under the guidance of supervising PTs, utilizing varied techniques and treatment activities to promote patient recovery and independence.
  • Assist patients in preparing for treatment and modalities as necessary, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Communicate effectively with support personnel regarding treatment orders and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Apply physical agents, therapeutic exercises, and gait-training activities as outlined by licensed PTs, progressing patients in an appropriate manner when deemed necessary.
Requirements
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Previous experience in patient care is preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
