Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Hemodialysis Nurse Specialist to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care.

About the Role

This is an entry-level position for Registered Nurses (RNs) with less than 1 year of Nephrology Nursing experience in the last two years as a RN. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and document medical justification and effectiveness.
  • Participate in emergency response measures and ensure patient safety.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • CPR BLS Certification.
  • Minimum 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.
