Moonlighting Psychiatrist

We are seeking a skilled Moonlighting Psychiatrist to join our team at D-H Lebanon-MHMH. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, while also contributing to our academic endeavors.

• Provide clinical and administrative services, including patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Participate in and contribute to DHC's academic programs, including resident conferences, training, and research.
• Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as directed.
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.
• Meet with patients to discuss their medical history, determine appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans, and order necessary tests and studies.
• Prescribe medications, treatments, and medical devices within your scope of practice and applicable rules and regulations.
• Initiate referrals to other providers as necessary and provide consultation, education, and counseling to patients and their families.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and informed consent.

• Advanced clinical degree (MD or DO)
• Postgraduate training in a residency program
• Current New Hampshire Medical License
• Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification (to be obtained within 5 years)
• Active hospital staff membership
