Moonlighting Psychiatrist

We are seeking a skilled Moonlighting Psychiatrist to join our team at Dartmouth Health.

• Provide clinical and administrative services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and record-keeping.
• Participate in academic endeavors, including teaching and research.
• Abide by Dartmouth Health Bylaws and Code of Conduct.
• Review patient records and medical history.
• Determine appropriate diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Order screening and diagnostic tests and studies.
• Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice.
• Initiate referrals and admissions as necessary.
• Provide consultation, education, and counseling to patients and families.
• Complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and informed consent.
• Supervise APPs as directed.
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.
• Participate in continuing medical education (CME).

• Advanced clinical degree (MD or DO).
• Postgraduate training in residency program.
• Current New Hampshire Medical License.
• Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification.
• Active hospital staff membership.
