Clinical Director Opportunity at Coral Ridge Outpatient Center

Coral Ridge Outpatient Center, an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International, is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Director to lead our operating room team. As a Clinical Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the operating room and implementing process initiatives to improve efficiency and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical department performance and patient satisfaction
  • Assume responsibility for budgeting and resource allocation
  • Oversee all patient care and administrative operations, including staff credentialing and risk management
  • Recruit and manage a team of qualified personnel to ensure departmental staffing needs are met
  • Assign cases and create schedules for all employees, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to staff, promoting continuous development and improvement
  • Evaluate staff performance and make necessary disciplinary actions
  • Monitor compliance with legal guidelines, internal policies, and quality standards
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a clinical director or other managerial position
  • Experience in clinical supervision and program management
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, resourcing, and performance evaluation procedures
  • Excellent knowledge of standards and regulations for the clinical field
  • Proficient in MS Office and computer systems, including patient management software
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
  • Aptitude in resolving issues and conflicts

Candidates must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing, currently licensed in the state of Florida, and possess five years of leadership experience and patient experience in an intra-operative setting. CPR, advanced life support certification, and PALS are also required. USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
