Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Service Advisor to join our team at Haralson Tire Co.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers, offer excellent service from intake to release of their vehicles
  • Issue Diagnosis: Determine and diagnose issues based on customer description and vehicle condition
  • Work Order Management: Translate customer-reported problems to actionable work orders for technicians to complete
  • Parts Ordering: Order necessary parts from suppliers and double-check that they are delivered to technicians
  • Quality Control: Ensure that work provided to customers meets company quality standards
  • Customer Billing: Invoice and collect payment from customers for services rendered
  • Customer Complaint Resolution: Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding services
  • Record Keeping: Maintain customer records and enter data into computer databases

Requirements:

  • Automotive Knowledge: Working knowledge and experience of automotive products, repairs and parts
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to translate customer needs to workable technician orders
  • Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computer programs including word processing and database tools
  • Organizational Skills: Organizational skills including the ability to schedule appointments, meet with customers and ensure that work is done properly
  • Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills based on experience
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematics skills to prepare and process bills and customer payment
  • Communication Complexity: Ability to communicate complicated processes to customers
