Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at ChristianaCare. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, as well as PET/CT procedures. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT scans
  • Assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Comply with JCAHO regulations
  • Perform quality control and quality assurance tasks
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(N) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Licensed by State of Delaware Authority on Radiation Protection and/or State of Maryland
  • BLS certification
