Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and they have a positive experience at the Equestrian Center.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Equestrian Center, including the indoor and outdoor facilities, and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
- Horse Care: Assist with the care and maintenance of the horses, including feeding, watering, grooming, and turning out.
- Event Support: Assist with events and operations during evening, nights, or weekend hours, ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed and that the Equestrian Center is prepared for events.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with the Equestrian Center Manager and other staff members to ensure that all tasks are completed and that any issues or concerns are addressed.
- Education: Currently enrolled as a student at Liberty University.
- Certifications: Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.
- Experience: Prior horse experience, including ownership, stable work, and/or professional equine experience.
- Availability: Ability to work up to 18 hours per week and be available to work a variety of different shifts, including weekends, early morning, afternoon, and late night hours.
- Experience: 5+ years of prior horse experience, including ownership, stable work, and/or professional equine experience.
- Customer Service: Experience in a customer service position.
- Equine Industry: Experience working in the equine industry.
- Communication and Comprehension: Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to convey clear, well-articulated information to other staff, students, and visitors.
- Problem Solving: Ability to intuitively reason, analyze information and events, and inform supervisor as necessary.
- Physical and Sensory Abilities: Ability to frequently stand for extended periods of time, work in all-weather conditions, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
