Position Title: Survey Project Manager

Atlas Engineering Group is a reputable professional services firm with a strong presence in the engineering sector. We are currently seeking a Survey Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage multiple Land Survey teams, ensuring project oversight and coordination.
- Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Directly manage complex Land Survey projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Supervise a team of 5 to 10 personnel, planning and scheduling field staff to meet project objectives.
- Prepare and guide field crews in various Land Survey tasks, including construction staking and topographic mapping.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation for survey-related deliverables, computations, and boundary plats.
- Handle administrative responsibilities such as timesheets, GPS logs, and equipment management.
- Evaluate employee performance and assist in proposal preparation.
- Commit to quality assurance and exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with department managers to ensure project success.
- Generate project reports and assist with proposal submissions.
- Review the quality and accuracy of deliverables.
- Professional Land Surveyor Registration in Illinois or the ability to obtain it within one year.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a project surveyor or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Civil3D is preferred.
- Experience with field-to-finished deliverables and GPS data processing.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and technical documentation.
- Demonstrated experience in various survey types and construction layouts.
- Self-motivated with a capacity to work independently while adhering to established procedures.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
