About the Role

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our Division of Psychology, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality behavioral health care to children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions for children with a range of behavioral and emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including endocrinologists, advance nurse practitioners, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct research and participate in quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of pediatric psychology.
  • Supervise and train residents and fellows in pediatric psychology, promoting a culture of excellence and diversity.
  • Participate in program development and contribute to the growth and strategy of our Division of Psychology.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in clinical, counseling, or school psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Internship training from an APA-accredited program in clinical child or pediatric psychology.
  • Post-doctoral fellowship training in clinical child or pediatric psychology.
  • Experience working with children and families in a medical setting, with a focus on pediatric psychology.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapy modalities, crisis intervention, and risk assessment.
  • License-eligible in the state of Delaware by the start of the position.
