Position Responsibilities

  • Implement network infrastructure for new and existing customers using Fortinet firewalls, Cisco, Meraki, and Extreme switching and wireless solutions.
  • Utilize primary networking solutions to optimize and secure customer environments.
  • Provide operational support to peers within the Engineering department.
  • Contribute to process improvement by following established standards and recommending new procedures.
  • Deploy and activate network solutions and internet circuits.
  • Troubleshoot networking-level incidents and escalate to senior engineers when necessary.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of network design and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Fortinet NSE4 or higher certification preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in networking and firewall administration.
  • Proficient with IPV4 protocols, VPN, TCP/IP, and Next Generation Firewalls.
  • Knowledge and experience with Fortinet, Meraki, Cisco, Ruckus, and Extreme products.
  • Experience with Visio required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, prioritization, and coordination between multiple projects.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $95,000-$110,000 based on industry standards and location.
