Key Responsibilities- Engage with Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to formulate comprehensive data management and quality control plans for testing activities.
- Contribute to the development of testing and evaluation documentation in alignment with operational testing standards.
- Conduct thorough research to assess the testability of Critical Operational Issues and Criteria (COIC).
- Reviewing testing methodologies to ensure they meet design and performance requirements.
- Compiling background information for systems under evaluation.
- Preparing documentation for necessary approvals to initiate testing processes.
- Analyzing test plans to identify support requirements, including resources and cost estimates.
- Finalizing Test Plans that outline responsibilities for test organizations.
- Training team members on test design and data management techniques.
- Conducting quality assurance reviews to ensure adherence to data collection protocols.
- Maintaining the Master Event List (MEL) and ensuring compliance with the data collection plan.
- Producing detailed test reports and collaborating with teams to analyze collected data.
- Preparing briefing materials to communicate findings and secure approvals for testing initiatives.
- Participating in meetings related to testing and experimentation.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree with 12 to 15 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 10 to 13 years of experience. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Experience with military aircraft avionics systems is highly desirable, along with strong communication skills for interaction with senior leadership. A solid understanding of testing and quality assurance principles is essential, as is the ability to lead technical teams.
Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with U.S. Air Force testing processes and experience with the AFLCMC U-2 System Project Office are advantageous.
