We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Memorial Satilla Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Triage and Assess Patients: Evaluate patients of all ages presenting for emergency care, making informed decisions to prioritize their treatment.
- Provide Comprehensive Care: Administer medications, perform procedures, and educate patients and their families on treatment plans and self-care.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient throughput.
- Manage Critical Situations: Demonstrate expertise in managing critical situations, making sound decisions, and prioritizing patient care.
- Document Patient Information: Accurately document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Education and Certification: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher. Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification required.
- Experience: Previous emergency, pre-hospital, or critical care Registered Nurse experience preferred.
Memorial Satilla Health is a 230+ bed acute-care hospital serving the Middle-Georgia community for over 60 years.
