Microstation ORD Technician

Job Summary

T2 Utility Engineers is seeking a skilled Microstation ORD Technician to join our team in Henderson, NV. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in preparing computer-generated survey drawings using CAD software.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and/or revising MicoStation ORD generated utility investigation plan sets from T2 Utility Engineers Field and Survey collected data using Bentley MicroStation software.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or revises MicoStation ORD generated utility investigation plan sets from T2 Utility Engineers Field and Survey collected data using Bentley MicroStation software.
• Completes simple calculations from Engineering staff specific instructions.
• Assists with comparing T2ue field gathered data versus Survey collected data.
• Survey data processing in MicroStation/ORD is a plus.
• Understands and implements the company's ORD procedures and/or Agencies ORD standards for use in plan set creation and deliverables.
• Well organized with outstanding work ethic, works well with a dynamic and highly efficient team.
• Maintains schedules and progress reports for self-performed work.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years of working with MicroStation based systems and 2 years minimum with ORD.
• 2+ years of MicroStation/ORD experience in survey or transportation engineering related fields.
• Minimum of high school or technical school training with courses in computer-aided drafting or equivalent experience (MicroStation/ORD).
• All activities will be under the direct supervision of a licensed Surveyor, Project Manager or Professional Engineer, utilizing a variety of software packages including MicroStation/ORD (Open Roads).
• DOT experience is a plus.
• Trimble Business center experience is a plus.
