Job Description

As a Personal Banker at CoreFirst Bank & Trust, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients. This includes assisting existing and potential customers with products and services, generating new business, and strengthening household relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Illustrate and sell the benefits of CoreFirst products and services to prospective and current customers.
  • Open banking accounts, process loan applications, answer customer questions, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with bank processes and procedures.
  • Meet assigned branch sales goals and participate in daily branch operations.

Requirements:

  • One year of customer service experience, including cash handling.
  • One year of banking experience strongly preferred.
  • Six months of sales experience preferred.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.

Skills and Abilities: Developing relationships, motivating, influencing, and training others. Ability to maintain composure and professionalism when handling complex situations.

Competencies: Adherence to CoreFirst Values; Respect, Communication, Integrity, Initiative, and Accountability.

Physical Requirements: Regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently required to sit, stand, and walk. Some light physical effort required, including ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
