Job Title: Lead Distribution Engineer

Valdes Architecture & Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Lead Distribution Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading multiple engineers on projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple engineers on projects, taking ownership of project completion on time and on budget.
  • Provide development and design services for overhead and underground utility distribution line projects (34kV and below).
  • Work on multiple projects while prioritizing work, interfacing with utility clients, and collaborating with design teams.
  • Prepare and develop distribution voltage construction packages for overhead and underground construction.
  • Utilize GIS information to aid in design, providing leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff members.
  • Regularly meet and correspond with clients, equipment suppliers, surveyors, and construction personnel.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
  • 7+ years of distribution engineering experience required.
  • Eligibility to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
