About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at College Fresh, Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations. As a Culinary Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire food service program of assigned College Fresh accounts, ensuring that our commitment to fresh, made-from-scratch food and outstanding customer service is consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and post weekly menus, ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards and are submitted to the menu sharing system in advance as directed by management.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Order, stock, prepare, and serve food to residents at designated College Fresh accounts, maintaining the kitchen and all food service areas in accordance with public health guidelines and the highest quality levels.
  • Inventory Management and Budgeting: Manage the budget, organize, and submit invoices as directed by management, while keeping complete and legible copies of all receipts for purchases made on company VISA cards.
  • Customer Service and Representation: Provide excellent customer service and represent College Fresh in a professional manner, addressing clients' needs, requests, and concerns in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Staff Management and Training: Assist the Regional Manager with subordinate staff hiring and training as required, ensuring that all team members are equipped to provide exceptional service and maintain the highest quality standards.
Requirements
  • Culinary Education and Experience: A Culinary Arts degree and/or a minimum of 2 years of catering experience, with the ability to demonstrate extensive knowledge of food preparation, kitchen management, menu planning, organization, and leadership.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Must be able to obtain and maintain a current Servsafe Food Protection Manager certificate or equivalent, from a nationally recognized or approved certification program.
  • Physical Demands: The physical demands of this role include standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, and pushing/pulling items weighing 30 pounds or less.
