SICK, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Strategy Intern to join our team for the summer of 2025.

About the Role:

The Marketing Strategy Intern will assist in the implementation of SICK's industry-focused marketing activities, including creating and implementing marketing plans, conducting market research, and identifying customer personas.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of marketing strategies and plans to support SICK's business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analyze data to inform marketing decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Industry Sales Teams and Marketing Communications teams to identify new opportunities to generate sales leads and create awareness for SICK.
  • Work closely with the manager and a selected mentor to understand systems, processes, and key information.
  • Actively seek out information to learn how SICK operates as a business, including products, departments, and more.
  • Interface with other departments and interns to gain knowledge of the business, products, positions, and more.
  • Provide innovative recommendations on how SICK can improve.
  • Complete a final presentation at the close of the internship that outlines the involved project(s) and knowledge gained.
  • Provide feedback on the internship experience at the close of the internship.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in an accredited University/College program, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Journalism, English, or related areas of study.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision.
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
