Job Title: Inventory Associate

At Salcomp Manufacturing USA, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Associate to join our team. As an Inventory Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform data entry tasks, including daily reporting of material movement and inventory levels.
  • Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Provide inventory assistance, including relocation, first-in-first-out, and differentiation of manufacturing and part numbers.
  • Complete filing of material documents and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support.
  • Handle purchase requests and formulate orders for parts.
  • Purchase parts from vendors and ship to retail customers.
  • Follow up on phone calls, part orders, returns, and shipments.
  • Accurately identify parts from the warehouse and assist production and warehouse teams in selecting the correct parts.
  • Work closely with vendors to resolve parts-related issues.
  • Assist in collecting receivables and maintain accurate financial records.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • One year of experience in an inventory role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with 5S principles.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated positive attitude and commitment to promoting a safe work environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Innovative problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to operate a computer.
  • Lift/carry 40lb. or less, push/pull 12lbs. or less.
  • Stooping, bending, stretching, and reaching outward and over their head.
  • This position may require extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
  • May require travel.
