Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Line Specialist to join our team at the Campbell Soup Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our packaging lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and organize supplies needed for production runs, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Plan and set up production lines, including setting codes, tags, and code blocks, and changing slicer blades as needed.
  • Monitor and record metal detector and check weigher data, as well as gather and record metal thrift product.
  • Relieve or fill in for other packaging utility staff as needed, and assist with tasks on other production lines as required.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all mechanical aspects of the machinery, including evaluating equipment and filling out work notifications.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills, with the ability to utilize good judgment and ensure issues are quickly resolved and communicated with supervision.
  • Food safety awareness and knowledge of HACCP, CTS, SOP, Safety, GMP, and JSA procedures and standards.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing work conditions and high-pressure situations.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, use hands and fingers to reach and manipulate materials, and lift up to 50 pounds.
