Job Description

SI Engineering, P.C. is a leading consulting engineering firm providing comprehensive services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, and bridge inspection. We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in the Manhattan office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing plans, specifications, and estimates for transportation projects.
  • Conduct analyses and develop design solutions for structural components.
  • Perform detailed checks of the design work being performed by other team members.
  • Participate in field site visits to gather information and measurements.
  • Utilize CAD software (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD) to assist with contract drawing preparation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • 2+ years of structural analysis and design experience, or a master's degree with relevant coursework.
  • Academic or professional experience covering design of bridge structures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) or willingness and ability to acquire one within 6 months of hire.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $78,000 - $98,800 annually.
  • 17 PTO Days per year, with an additional PTO for every year after five years, up to a maximum of 35 PTO Days.
