Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead early-stage company advisory and consulting projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with industry experts, entrepreneurs, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders at partner organizations.
  • Technical Due Diligence: Conduct thorough technical due diligence on early-stage companies, evaluating their core technology, value proposition, and current R&D and communication strategies.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships and collaborations to drive growth and innovation.
  • Reporting and Communication: Write comprehensive technological and market evaluations, synthesizing research conclusions and recommendations for stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Master's or PhD preferred).
  • Experience: Approximately 3-5 years of experience in business advisory, consulting, or research environments.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the non-dilutive funding ecosystem within the US, including SBIR/STTR grants.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead calls, write technical reports, and edit proposals.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, with a strong bias towards action and a relentless drive for results.
