Job Title: Manager In Training

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Manager In Training at Mathnasium, The Math Learning Center. As a Manager In Training, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow with our company, developing the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a leadership role.

Job Summary:

The Manager In Training will assist in the day-to-day operations of a Mathnasium Learning Center, including responsibility over profit and loss, customer service, hiring/training staff, optimizing the enrollment process, curriculum delivery, and marketing activities to schools and the surrounding community.

Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Marketing: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase enrollment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and staff, ensuring a positive experience and building strong relationships.
  • Team Building: Foster a positive and productive team environment, promoting collaboration and open communication among staff members.
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans to achieve business goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Essential Talents & Skills:
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in business management, consultative sales, education, or a related field with a strong focus on customer service and building connections.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Advanced communication skills, including compassion, building connections, active listening, assessing customer needs, providing solutions, and overcoming conversational objections.
  • Highly organized with managing multiple, concurrent priorities/projects with accuracy and a sense of urgency.
  • Strong leadership skills, empathy, tact, and diplomacy; interacts and works cooperatively with students, parents, and staff, demonstrating sensitivity and responsiveness to individual needs.
  • Flexibility with schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
