Behavioral Healthcare Specialist

Gateway Foundation, a national non-profit organization, is seeking an experienced Behavioral Healthcare Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our correctional treatment team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical services to underserved populations.
As a Behavioral Healthcare Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising and monitoring therapeutic and recreational activities to ensure the safety and well-being of clients. You will also provide motivational support and guidance to assist clients in meeting therapeutic goals, as well as coordinate the work of Direct Care Monitors during work shifts.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor therapeutic and recreational activities to ensure client safety and well-being
- Provide motivational support and guidance to assist clients in meeting therapeutic goals

- Report missing residents, unusual behaviors, or physical symptoms to appropriate personnel

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Six months of relevant experience in behavioral healthcare or a related field
