Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Specialist to join our team at SitelogIQ. As an Electrical Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for EV charging applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales teams to determine customer technical requirements and project scope.
  • Prepare drawing packages, including electrical, civil, and structural drawings.
  • Communicate with third parties to assemble drawing packages.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of building codes, including NEC, ADA, and local codes.
  • Coordinate with utilities and participate in site-surveys, pre-bid, and pre-construction meetings.
  • Create drawings for engineering and development, proposals, and construction.
  • Generate submittal packages, including product data sheets, bill of materials, and drawings.
  • Maintain internal documentation in a collaborative file sharing and storage environment.
  • Assist in large RFP and business development opportunities.
  • Participate in quality control review of peer project development teams.
Requirements
  • Technical or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant drafting design and detailing experience with EV charging a plus.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or an equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision under time-sensitive deadlines.
